I am in love with Jesus; constantly finding ways to get closer to Him. He romances me and is patient with me, even when I stray.

Have you ever wondered what happened to some blogs? Like, seriously. I don't understand why someone gets a blog and does not write in it.. Is it because they just stop? or is it because they are busy? I LOVE hearing about what is going on in everyone's life! I hope to hear the news from everyone when I come home.. Cuz, some blogs are just not cutting it! LOL! I love you guys!

Thanksgiving.

Hey everybody!
I had a blast in Tulsa! The only bad part is that I had to drive home to Dallas.
Uh, Thanksgiving was interesting.. I went to my cousin's friend's parent's house. LOL. I know its a mouthfull. Haha.
It was interesting hanging out with a whole family of people who didn't know me, but in the end, it was fine, and I learned alot about feeling weird and getting over it.
My cousin Emily is a great cook, and I thoroughly enjoyed the meals she fed me.
It was a good time!
Uh, it's been cold here. LOL. I mean, at least forty degrees! SO CHILLY! LOL
I hope everything is going ok for everyone, I mean, no one has frost bitten anything right? That's good, that's good!
I hope to see all of you in approximately three weeks. I'm not telling anyone the exact day, I want it to be a surprise when I just show up somewhere. I can't wait to see everybody though! It's gonna be a busy two weeks! I have to leave the cities on January 1st. So, I hope to go to the New Year's Eve party! It should be fun!
But, enough about three weeks from now.
I have three papers I have to write before tomorrow. So sorry this is short.
I gotta get going! Love you guys!

The Velveteen Rabbit

Self worth.. What is it? and who gives it to you?
How do you go from being fake to being real?

"Does it hurt?" asked the Rabbit.
"Sometimes," said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. "When you are Real you don't mind being hurt."
"Does it happen all at one, like being wound up," he asked, "or bit by bit?"
"It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't often happen to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."
"I suppose you are Real?" said the Rabbit. "That was a great many years ago; but once you are Real you can't become unreal again. It lasts for always."
The Rabbit sighed. He wished he could become Real without all of the uncomfotable things happening also.

The little boy ends up finding the bunny, and loving the bunny, and spending all of his time with the bunny. The boy represents God. God makes us real.

Weeks passed, and the little Rabbit grew very old and shabby, but the boy loved him just as much. He loved him so hard that he loved all his whiskers off, and the pink lining to his ears turned grey, and his brown spots faded. He even began to lose his shape, and he scarcely looked like a rabbit any more, except to the Boy. To him he was always beautiful, and that was all that the little Rabbit cared about.

What God thinks is all we need to care about. Once you are real to God, you are free to show others who you really are too.... and then other people can see who you are in Christ as well.

The little boy ends up getting sick, and the bunny has to get thrown out. He is in a bag, waiting to be burned.. His head is sticking out of the top of the bag. A tear falls down his face as he realizes he can't be with the boy anymore. Where his tear falls, a flower sprouts up, and a fairy flies out of the flower.

"You were Real to the Boy," the Fairy said, "because he loved you. Now you shall be Real to everyone."

Let God make you real to everyone.
That's just something I'm trying to do.
Love you guys.
